COMMISSION SUBCONTRACTORS

Client supplies approved pre-determined items (for example final text, photos, data etc...).

QCD comissions pre-determined subcontractors (for example photographers, illustrators, copywriters, proof readers, editors, etc...)

ARTWORK PREPARATION

QCD prepares finished artwork as per proposal, suitable for agreed output/publication.

Draft proofs (digital or hardcopy) are emailed/delivered for client approval.

Subcontractors proofs are submitted for client approval.

Approved artwork is combined and prepared for final client approval and sign off before being sent out for colour separation/digital editing etc.

ARTWORK PRESENTATION

Sometimes this stage needs internal approval from within the client's organisation (legal and managerial).

Changes generated during this review need to be incorporated and may or may not be deemed to be 'authors corrections'.

ARTWORK APPROVAL

Client approves and signs off on artwork.
